The beer selection of UAE hasn't really convinced me, which of course is no surprise for an Islamic Persian Gulf country. However, let me change for a while to beers from another country that is an ultimate beer heaven, a real hidden gem in the hoppy world!   🇸🇦 The beer pours glowingly clear and... well, seafoam green. 🤔 Looks pretty much like diluted washing up liquid. The spritzy carbonation lasts for a short to medium time and unleashes a meager, bubbly head that dies quickly out. The fragrance is interesting. And quite strange. It's restrained and unidentifiable, tries to imitate some kind of berry mix but fails. It's more like artificial jelly. The taste is sweet and a bit lemony. Generally speaking, the palate offers a messy package of various unspecifiable synthetic fruit aromas. The label as if indicates raspberry and blackberry but there are no such berries in the list of ingredients. And no any other berries either for that matter. The thin-bodied beer finishes with the same unidentifiable artificial candy/jelly flavor. The aftertaste threatens the tastebuds with cancer for a short time. The mouthfeel is synthetic, rather thin, extremely soft-drink-like and spritzy. It's also medium-sappy and a tad lip-glueing. This is absolutely unbeery and lacks direction. I just don't know what this is.
