A kicked up version of Haze, our Double IPA, Very Hazy is a beer that makes us Very Happy! Very Hazy conveys all the beautiful flavors of Haze, but with even greater depth and potency. Pungent grapefruit notes greet your palate while an underlying current of soft tropical fruit dances in the background. Just the right amount of bitterness balances the sweet fruit flavors while a velvety soft mouthfeel make you easily (and dangerously!) forget this one clocks in at 8.6% ABV. A huge and beautiful beer that maintains softness and delicacy.

Aroma: Peach & other stone fruits. That Tree House base beer. Citrus.
Taste: Ripe peach & similar stone fruits, passion fruit, sweet citrus, bubblegum. Love it!
TreeHouse got a special taste, newschool vs. oldschool.

Nimensä veroinen sakeudessa.Tuoksussa hedelmäisyyttä. Maussa hedelmäisyys pääsee sitä mukaa pintaan kun juoma lämpenee. Hyvin pieni katkeruus jälkimaussa. Kuvailisin luonteikkaaksi ja suutuntumaltaan mainioksi. Ei aivan kärkeen jenkeissä, mutta solidi nelonen

Well, this brewery needs no introductions.
One of my favourite breweries; Tree House Brewing Company and this time it is their Very Hazy Imperial IPA clocking in at 8.6%. Slightly kicked up version of their Haze beer that I actually haven't had.
Nose on the can hole and there's that lovely peachy aroma right up front followed by orange and pineapple. Citrus playing along the orchester. Recognisible house aroma right there too.
Let's do the pour then: Very Hazy is brilliantly hazy indeed. Dark yellow in color (in the kitchen light) with about two and half fingers thick lid and sure is a fluffy motherfucker. As the foam dissipates away it leaves lots of markings on the sides.
Smooth on the palate, thick and sensual as they advertise. Lingering bitterness in the back end and even some hop burn actually, at least when colder, settles as it warms up. Citrusy juice with peach, orange, pineapple and tangerine. A good dose of hops. There's also a grapefruity bite and some herbal or grassy touch too.
Classy stuff and suites my palate even though I still had higher expectations here.

Täysin samean oranssi olut, noin parin sormen paksuisella valkealla vaahdolla.
Tuoksu on hyvin hedelmäinen, sitruksinen, greippinen, mangoinen, appelsiininen, humalainen, ruohoinen, hieman aprikoosinen ja aavistuksen yrttinen.
Runko on keskitäyteläinen, hiilihappoinen ja raikkaan katkeroinen, pienellä makeudella.
Maussa on runsaasti hedelmiä, greippiä, sitrusta, appelsiinia, ruohoisuutta, humalaa, hieman mangoa, cantaloupemelonia, aprikoosia, mandariinia ja aavistus havuja.
Hmm nyt kävi todennäköisesti niin, että olin onnistunut odottamaan jopa turhan paljon tämän maistelua. Vaikka kyseessä onkin hieno, laadukas ja maukas DIPA, niin kaikki ei aivan yltänyt odotuksiini. Joka tapauksessa oli mahtavaa päästä maistamaan myös tätä ja odotan innolla seuraavia, mitkä odottaa jääkaapissa.
