A good IPA, just not really for me. Way more bitter than I prefer. 3.5/5

Liian kevyttä humalaa vaille loistava dipa. Perusasiat kunnossa eikä mitään hedelmäkikkailuja

Meripihkanvärinen, utuinen olut sormen vahvuisella vaahdolla. Tuoksussa on mallasta, hedelmää ja humalaa. Olut on täyteläinen, hapokas, tasapainoinen, kuiva ja raikas. Mausta löytyy hedelmää, sitrusta, greippiä, havua ja katkeroa. Hyvin tehty olut. (4+8+5+8+17=42) 4,2

Semihazy, amber beer with reasonable, short-lived carbonation builds a dense cotton, café au lait colored head that exceeds one finger and settles gradually down to a thin lacing on top. The contracting foamy mattress leaves small but thick, downpouring lace pillars on the wall of the glass. The scent is surprisingly fruity: apricot jam, ripe mango and a bit of mashed banana whirl together as a relatively thick entity. Medium-bitter zesty grapefruit, new spruce tops and sweet dough accompany in the immediate proximity, followed by a hefty floral nuance. Indeed very attractive and makes my mouth water. The tongue receives a generous punch of DDH, rather strong spruce needles, a bit of resin and bags of lemon peel. Heavier, stuffy fruit fall into minority but don't disappear: apricot and mango are still lingeringly sweet in the background, and further behind there are tiny pinches of overripe banana and significantly distant dough. The body is medium-full. The beer finishes with massive dry hops, a good amount of spruce needles, recognizeable resin and very bitter, raw lemon peel. Hop burn is evident at the immediate swallowing but dilutes quickly thereafter. The aftertaste keeps kicking the taste receptors' asses for quite a lengthy time. The mouthfeel is crisp and nicely coniferous but also astonishingly soft at the first sip. It's also a bit mouth-drying and husky. Additionally, this is interestingly multilayered and meadowy. Much better than what I first expected after reading the earlier reviews.
