First flight 2/4. Translucent, amber beer with a cream-yellow velvety head. The fragrance puts forward a surprise: distinct toffee, accompanied by sweet biscuit, dried mango and a sweet bubblegummy aroma. The strong palate serves a bit of bubblegum, faint toffee, biscuit, a tad lemon and a drop of squeezed orange. Alcohol is easily recognizeable on the tongue. The body is medium-full. The finish changes dramatically from upfront; I have to check that the beers are still on their correct places. Yes, they are. I receive heftily alcoholic, medium-sweet malt, lemon zest, bitter orange peel and dried apricot. The duration of the aftertaste is medium. The mouthfeel is strong, boozy, chemical, tangy but also intriguingly soft.
