It's the final countdown! Door #22 of my Advent Calendar opens now! Turbid, deep dark brown beer with timid, rushed carbonation delivers a fawn, mousse-like head that fails to reach half a finger's height. The foam descends quickly to a hair-thin lace ring circling the surface. The glass remains untouched after the head has dissolved. Colossal peanut butter emanates to the nostrils. I can also detect a tad milk chocolate, cacao nibs, café au lait and a pinch of pecan nut. The fragrance is considerably simple and straighforward albeit attractive. The gustatory experience follows the suit with hefty peanut butter that, however, falls short of that on the nose. A subtle combination of milk chocolate, cacao nibs and café au lait accompanies in the background. The body is light. The beer finishes with a tad peanut butter, roasted peanut and a bit of dark chocolate. The quick aftertaste fails to make the tastebuds go nuts. The mouthfeel is light, soft, almost velvety as well as smooth. It's also nicely creamy and interestingly slightly mouth-drying.

Very drinkable beer not a big lover of peanut butter but a really nice smooth drinkable stout and would certainly drink more .
