Continuing their popular 10W-40 Imperial Stout series, Hi-Wire Brewing will be releasing 10W aged on Palo Santo wood (8% ABV) in 4-packs of 16oz cans in both their Asheville taprooms on Friday, June 7 at 3pm. Flavors of camp-fired marshmallows, toasted coconut, and orange peel add to this decadent dark chocolate, vanilla, and coffee-rich stout. This beer will see limited distribution in Hi-Wire Brewing’s entire footprint.

A slow day at The Foundry And Growler Bar resulted in owner Justin spending time and beer knowledge with us. After a beer sample flight, he recommends this limited brew. The coffee and chocolate are Stout regulars, but the smoky, wood flavor of the Palo Santo wood is unique and very good. You probably won't get a chance to experience this limited batch, but if you do, go for it! As a stout, I give it 4.4, but for uniqueness, a strong 5.
