American Lager? More of a malt backbone with some nice citrusy and fruit notes than our Euro grandparents. Our take on a classic NW Lager that has a light, crisp and citrusy profile. The Hawk Creek Cafe in Neskowin, Oregon was the setting where two brothers, Jon & Joe Sliger had one of the most extensive craft beer lists in the early 90’s right as the craft revolution was taking off, the Hawk Creek Cafe. Many soon to be influential brewmasters came by for a pizza and often were found drinking one of these. Many great stories came out of these lagers and we hope ours inspires the same in you! Neskowin in the now lost native language meant "many fish" which is fitting due to the location. Maybe after a few of these you can tell your own "fish tale" or maybe even make up a few more!
