Yet ANOTHER beautiful beer from SIREN! I’m a huge fan of this brewery and I jump at the chance of trying a new brew from them! This particular pale ale is made with the Olicana hop and I THINK it’s the first time I’ve had it (or at least that I know of). The beer pours a hazy, amber colour in the glass with a 1 finger white head. Looks like real fruit juice. The aroma... WOW! It smells like Kia Ora or Um Bongo. There’s grapefruit, mango, pineapple, some lemon and some orange. All of them lovely tropical notes. I couldn’t wait to dive in. The taste itself delivers in a big way! It really does give you that classic Um Bongo fruit juice taste. It’s so refreshing. Perfect on a hot day. It’s so sessionable at only 4% ABV. I could drink this all day. There is a slight bitterness on the back end with a good level of carbonation. The grapefruit, the mango and the pineapple are very prominent and makes you crave the next sip. This brewery has always been one of my favourites and I’m glad to say it keeps delivering in a big way! A 5 star beer for me!
