Backlog from a beer share with friends on 6-27-2020 I've had this before. Definitely better with some age on it. The bourbon and oak is coming through where it didn't when it was fresh. 4/5

2018-versio. Pikainen arvio ennen saunaa. Vadelmainen BCBS. Vadelmaa löytyy sekä tuoksusta että mausta. Muuten tämä on varman laadukas BCBS. Yllättävän hapan tapaus vaikka onkin jo ”pari vuotias” olut.

Very sweet aroma. Whiskey, rye spiciness, raspberries and blackberries. Taste has huge fruit right up front. Whiskey follows next. The rye is pretty much lost in the flavor, presumably underneath the fruits. There's a bitterness on the back end that I can't quite pinpoint what it is. Body is meduim+ with an appropriately lower carbonation. I'm gonna give this a 4/5
