Mauissa runsaastii vehnää, sitruunaruohoa, kepeää sitruunamehua, lievästi kuivakookoksisuutta ja tuollaista aavikkomaista kukkaisuutta; etäistä, haurasta, hieman rapeaa ja raikasta. Suutuntu on puolikevyt, melko mukavasti humala tuntuu, kuin myös mallaspohja on vankka. Kuohu on herkässä. Helposti nautittavaa kuotenkin. Jälkimaussa näkkileipäinen, sitruunavetinen, nopeadti kaikkoava, rapealla humaloinnilla. MUUTA MAINITTAVAA: Citra, Centennial & Sabro humaloitu DIPA. Perustason Tree House DIPA. Time for a beer while heating the sauna. Since there's no snow at all, a substitute is needed. What I want is "Snow", of course. ❄️ The beer pours fully foggy, milky deep yellow. Looks beautiful! The introvert, short-lived carbonation unleashes a soft, cloud-white, whipped-creamy head that surpasses one finger. The foamy cap dissolves soon to a regular thin lacing on the surface. The retreating froth paints the glass with zillions of tiny downpouring splatters. The nose is already shivering as it anticipates a tropical fruit punch. And indeed, I find attractive amounts of mango and pineapple, accompanied by zesty grapefruit, lemon and a tiny dollop of squeezed mandarin. The hops are modest on the nose. Instead, wheat malt and a tad wheat flour bring in loads of softness to the experience. The wheat is truly soft and refreshing. The taste makes the tongue twist out of excitement. The gustatory supply contains, first and foremost, massive fresh grapefruit and a generous amount of lemon pulp. Pineapple features gentle on the taste receptors whereas mango tends to withdraw to the background. The hoppy side emerges in the palate and portrays a bit piney and grassy nuances. Wheat is again unexpectedly soft, wellnigh creamy and definitely not at all stuffy. Overall, the taste profile is tropical and somewhat straighforward. The body is medium. The beer ends with medium-piney hops and a good amount of fresh wheat malt that merge with lemon peel, lemon zest and juicy grapefruit. Moderate hop burn follows in the immediate proximity. The aftertaste gives the tastebuds a job to do for a long time. The mouthfeel is a tad crisp and slightly piney, yet simultaneously also smooth and nicely creamy. It's also somewhat dry and mouth-drying. The mouthfeel is additionally very juicy, reasonably tropical and refreshing. Dangerously easy, I could quaff these easily one after another. Jaahas! Otetaanpas sitten ensimmäinen puumajakalja maisteluun! Miellyttävän hedelmäinen ja vehnäinen tuoksu, jossa sitrusta, mandariinia, greippiä, melonia ja pientä purukumimaista vibaa! Maussa vehnäistä pehmeyttä hienoisella greippisellä katkerolla, joka näyttäytyy kunnolla oikeastaan vasta jälkimaussa. Mandariinisuus korostuu entisestään muuten sitrusvoittoisessa maussa. Mukaan lyöttäytyy myös häivähdys banaanisuutta, joka tuo tähän hieman hefemäisiä piirteitä! Mahtavan pehmeä suutuntuma ja muutenkin erittäin helposti lähestyttävä vehnämehu! Odotukset lunastettu tämän(kin) panimon suhteen!
