The Pope of Beers, Conrad Seidl, describes it as: “Almost black with a very slight red tone, a sensational, festive foam and truly extraordinary fragrance that at first summons up visions of greaves lard. The first taste is of mild fullness with an accompanying coffee tone, which becomes more dominant with the aftertaste. There is very little of the sweetness that is frequently to be tasted with doppelbock beer.”

Nen Bock hatten wir schon lange nicht mehr.
Das Etikett gefällt schon mal.
Hier hatte ich es aus dem Kühlschrank geholt, bis ich es aber eingeschenkt habe, verging fast ne Stunde, daher war es beim verkosten auf Zimmertemperatur.
Beim einschenken musste ich sehr schnell abtrinken, damit es nicht über läuft.
Für nen Bock schöner, feincremiger anhaltender Schaum.
Der gefällt.
In die Nase kommt hauptsächlich der Geruch nach süßem Malz, dazu leicht Schokolade.
Geschmacklich ist es auch malzig, schokoladig, leicht Karamell und Vanille.
Minimale Röstaromen sind auch mit dabei.
Süß und gleichzeitig her auf der Zunge.
Ein Doppelbock der gefällt, wo aber eines vollkommen ausreicht. Ja auch wenn man sich die kleine Flasche teilt.

Tuhdin kahvinen. Lempeän makea. Ei liian karski vaan helposti juotava, sillä takapotkua ei ole nimeksikään. Pidin.

Tuoksu on tuhdin maltainen. Maku erittäin roteva, jossa maltaan makeutta sekä paahteisuutta ja ihanaa katkeruutta. Mahtava dobbelbock- olut kerta kaikkiaan.
