Dommage.

On kyllä herkkua.

From the cellar. Got this in Mikkeller Beer Club last July. Whoa, the scent is intense. Like really fresh plums or berries. What the hell, don't see no coffee or vanilla. Very nice. Brown sugar, faint licorice and chocolate. Taste has aplenty of brown sugar, fresh berries, sweet butterscotch caramel and oh my full it is! Mouthstickying berry chocolate elixir. Dark malts, too. Mouthfeel is super thick and creamy. Sticks in your mouth and no sign of 13% anywhere. Hey, I was looking for a mindblower and this came outta nowhere. Where can I get more?

Door #21 of my Advent Calendar serves Moctezuma from Corfu, Greece. This is going to be interesting. Opaque, oily jet black beer flows to the snifter. The truly shy, rushed carbonation lays a thin but beautiful lace ring of chocolatey color. The glass is left untouched otherwise. The scent displays powerful syrup and a good injection of muscovado sugar. A gentle touch of dark chocolate and raw cacao powder add their own peculiar nuances to the package, followed by a moderate nuance of mocha. If the fragrance was attractive, the gustatory supply blows the world: the palate is extraordinarily thick, strong and desserty. I get colossal dark chocolate and a huge bunch of cacao nibs. I can also detect a subtle amendment of syrup, a bit of muscovado sugar and faint vanilla. A nice dollop of rum dances seductively on the sides of the tongue. The coffeeish note of the fragrance is gone. The taste is simply awesome! A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!! The body is really robust. The beer finishes with loads of dark chocolate, cacao nibs and raw cacao powder, accompanied by hefty brown sugar, a tad sweet dark rum, syrup, distant vanilla and a roasty note. The aftertaste glues the tastebuds for a medium period. The mouthfeel is sticky, heavily lip-glueing and massively desserty. It's thick, oily, slow-moving and quite sappy. The mouthfeel is solely little alcoholic despite the ABV of 13 %. Overall, a substantially attractive, rich and deep beer for slow desserty enjoyment. 🖤🖤🖤
