Wasn’t sure about it when I bought it, but it’s a good drink. Probably not a six-pack at a sitting but I enjoyed it! Happy Easter!

A really nice seasonal Porter. It’s a one at a time beer, not multiples in a sitting. I enjoyed it and it was worth $9.99 for a six pack.

Surprise, surprise - has a candied taste. Also has vanilla, roasted pecans, sweet caramel. Overall it is what it is listed as. If it was more roasted pecan based I think it would be better.

New Year's Day 2021 with son and son-in-law trying out a new Shiner beer. Very small head. Color is deep reddish amber and clear. Aroma is definitely sweet pecan. Thick and creamy texture. Flavor has a strong sweet candy, some vanilla, with only the smallest amount of pecan in the background. Finish finally brings forth a roasted pecan with some back end bitterness. It's okay but I was really hoping for more.

Pecan Porter On tap at Spoetzle Brewery. Pours dark brown, opaque. Sweet aroma. Sweet and creamy mouthfeel. Definitely has a pecan flavor, almost like it has a bit of maple with it. Dry and bitter finish that lasts a while. Very good.
