It's aged in Whisky barrels so you definitely get a taste of that along with a smokiness. Hints of vanilla, dark chocolate and marzipan. A dark sweetness almost reminiscent of a sweet soy sauce. Almost zero carbonation which worked great for me. Was nice to have a slightly larger bottle (375ml), but sad to see it finish.
