Malheur 8: You smell as soon as you take a first snif, hops dominate. Good maltyness with some wheatmalts and a overal very dry but still fresh impression. Taste is fine also that's as the smell sry, little hay, alcohol and good and very fine bitterness that's well dosed. Great mouthfeel and overal fresh impression that's even busted by the enormous carbonisation this one has. A complex beer with an uncomplicated structure.

Das Malheur 8 ist ein goldblondes Bier mit 8% abv und viel gemischtporigem weißem Schaum.
Es duftet zitral und somit hopfenbetont.
Geschnacklich kommt aber eher eine blumigere Note oder auch Holunderblüte durch mit krautigen Anleihen und einer deftigen Bitterkeit. Der Alkohol ist leicht scharf und der Malzkörper im mittleren Bereich. Das Blonde kommt nicht 100% harmonisch daher und entspricht eher einem kräftig gehopften Double IPA.
Sehr bitteres Blonde, nicht ganz ausgewogen aber für Hopfenfans sicher eine Überlegung wert.
