
Brewed only once a year on December 6th, Samichlaus is aged for 10 months before bottling. Serve with hardy robust dishes and desserts, in particular with chocolates, or as an after dinner drink by itself.

Playing catch-up on day 6 of my homemade beer Advent Calendar. It pours reddish-brown in colour with virtually no head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Flavour is of the same. Decadently thick mouthfeel. More of a barley wine than a Doppelbock, I would say.

Birra estremamente difficile da abbinare a un piatto. Sapore di legno, di frutta secca, di albicocca, di banana... c'è un mondo, manca però una minima parvenza di schiuma... peccato

Petite effervescence au service qui s'est estompée rapidement . Robe cuivrée et acajou . Carbonatation moyenne . En bouche c'est directement très gourmand et complexe, on est sur des notes de prunes , de caramel , de miel , de fruits confits .... C'est rond , costaud et sirupeux . Une vraie bière de dégustation , c'est très bien fait et avec ces 14 chevaux elle ne laisse pas indifférent 🤪
