Last night of work for the year? Let's pick an amazing beer to celebrate! Very loud carbonation. Huge bourbon in the aroma. Some coffee notes, oak and chocolate as well. Taste has bourbon first, followed by somewhat muted coffee, chocolate, vanilla, oak and toffee. The coffee is definitely still there, primarily in the finish and aftertaste. The body is full, the mouthfeel is smooth and despite the carbonation being very loud, this has an appropriately low amount of carbonation. I had my first bottle of this for New Years 2019 and absolutely loved it. Almost 2 years later (and 4 years for the beer, bottled on 9-21-2016) this is still amazing. The perfect blend of coffee, bourbon, chocolate, oak and toffee. I have 2 bottles left and hopefully they too hold up to aging. World class still, 5/5
