The beer's color is like lemon juice, hazy and between straw and yellow. The head that emerges on the surface is soft, white, quite introvert, mere half a finger tall, and melts rapidly down to a hair-thin lacing and a neat lace ring. The aroma of lychee is not particularly strong on nose but still recognizeable. The scent releases also faint carambola and a very subtle note of pineapple. The taste receptors enjoy the merger of oversweet lychee and light-sour grapefruit, a tad carambola and a drop of pineapple zest. Wheat flour lingers noticeably in the background. Overall, the palate portrays a light-sour base. The light-bodied beer ends, in big rush, with medium-sour grapefruit juice and lemon peel, accompanied by identifiable carambola. Wheat emerges more pronounced in the finish, as does also the yeast. The mouthfeel is light and relatively thin, a bit tart as well as somewhat tropical. Quite summery and easy but a bit closed; not a particularly strong brew by Fat Lizard.
