The highly subtle , elegant and gentle flavor of traditional Oude geuze, Vat 91, is due to foeder no.91 which used to serve as a calvados cask in Normandy. Now this fielder produces an excellent gentle Lambic, which is just perfect for traditional oude geuze. Vat91 is soft , full bodied, complex and well balanced. The unique oval shape of foeder no. 91 provides optimal use of warehouse space.

Tuoksu lupasi, maku ei antanut. Tammitynnyrin maistaa, hapokkuutta jäi kaipaamaan.

Noniin ensimmäinen lambic testiin, joten ei tiedä yhtään mitä odottaa. Pullotettu 19.12.2016. Tuoksu happaman villihumalainen ja hieman karviaismarjainen. Maku erittäin kuiva, hapan ja hieman kirpeä. Jonkinlainen tyrniä muistuttava hedelmä/marjasekoitus tuohon on isketty, mutta maut jäävät aika hyvin happamuuden jalkoihin. Happamuus kuitenkin siedettävissä rajoissa soureihin verrattuna.
