A Schwarzbier designed to take on the classic coffee beer, being dry and light as opposed to sweet. We cold steeped all the dark grains overnight to develop coffee and chocolate notes with minimal burnt or bitter flavours. A delicate hopping of Amarillo and Eukanot brings some fruitiness to the lager but Brazilian coffee really shines through with fudge and caramel notes in abundance.

Other people love this but with the rich coffee flavour made it impossible to drink for me can imagine this being a big hit with other people

Pours a gorgeous black with a caramel couloired head. Extremely strong coffee notes and malt. Tastes like an alcoholic Iced coffee.

Dark ale, creamy head, strong aroma of coffee. First taste, cocoa and coffee stout, malty sweetness, slight bitterness. Bit sweet for my taste!

The 10th and last beer from this month's Beer 52 German Oktoberfest box. It pours black with a brown head. Aroma and flavour are of strong, bitter coffee.
