Asked for something else and got this instead. Not an issue as it was 50/50 anyway. Possibly past its best (99p managers special), but its an OK malty ale.

Bateman's brewed Spoons fest slightly lower alcohol version of this French ale. The caramel malts & citrus hops work quite harmoniously.

This is the JDW version. Being pseudo French it's actually rather nice. It must be the Bateman's influence.
