Christmas Advent beer #20. This is a new one. This has a your normal Christmas spices leaning towards nutmeg and light cinnamon with some very light vanilla added in too. It also has some very light clove giving it a little Belgium taste to it.
Overall the spices were done at the almost perfect level as they weren’t overwhelming but have very good presence. The Belgium clove aspect fit perfectly with the spices.
Canned 10/??/25. Can’t read the day. Was double printed.

It is amazing what they can do with beer nowadays. This has a chocolate cake taste with some vanilla, molasses, roasted malt, light coffee, light caramel and a touch of toasted coconut. You’d expect this to be super sweet but it’s not. It’s sweet and bitter. A slight alcohol burn but it is 10.5%.
Born on 9/24/24. A little old but given the abv it probably aged it well.
My Guinness is probably going to taste like water after this one

Going to the dark side today starting with my lightest one. Has a very light dark fruit taste that leans towards fig, raisin, hints of cherry. Has some very light caramel malt. And to finish off it has a light Belgium yeast taste.
Overall it’s a nice dubbel but kind of light. I expected a little more punch for a 7.2. Looks like I had this before. Funny I rated it the same.
