Advent calendar beer #3. Surprised this is a WC IPA which I’m thrilled about.
This has just a touch of citrus that leans towards grapefruit and tangerine. Has a hint of pine. Has a medium hoppy bite. Has a light caramel malt. Stays to a true WC style.
My criticism is it could use a little more pine. Maybe a little more citrus but it still was pretty good. Borderline 3.9 / 4.0. I was generous.
Born 10/14/25.

This lists notes of peach and passionfruit on the can. It is very accurate. Leans more towards peach/peach purée with some light passionfruit. Has light+ hoppy bitterness to it.
It’s good but limited to just what’s advertised. I can’t fault them for that and it does taste good.

Super rafraîchissante. Peu amère. Une valeur sûre.

This imperial west coast IPA elaborated on the 14th of May pours smoothly, with an amber colour and some haze, medium carbonation, as well as decent head. On the nose, aromas of pine, resin and flours, with subtle tropical notes. On the palate, grapefruit and resin, and some caramel sweetness are at the forefront. The aftertaste is dry, bitter, sweet, and surprisingly balanced bearing in mind its 8%. Fairly decent IPA that would not let you down.
