Having my fourth beer on a flight of four at Glacier Brewing Company in Polson Montana. This one is on the far right, another stout. Very dark brown color but have some light shining through the glass. Moderately heavy, very chocolate head. Not what I was expecting. Straightforward deep roasted bitter, no sweetness at all. Raw baking chocolate with all of its bitterness. Finish comes with a fading unrefined vanilla bean. Thought I was really going to like this but it comes across a little harsh and not well balanced. Reminds me of an old-fashioned basic stout with just some very well hidden hints of flavor here and there. Disappointed.

In Polson Montana trying out a flight of beers from Glacier Brewing Company. This one is third from the left. Dark brown opaque color. Dark malt aroma. Definitely getting the creaminess from the milk stout but not quite syrupy. Flavor is a dark roasted milk chocolate. Has a sweet liqueur quality that highlights the 8.1%. It then glides into the finish with a smooth soft chocolate. My favorite so far.

In Polson, Montana at Glacier Brewing Company trying out a flight of beers. This klosch is second from the left. Light yellow clear color. Thin but still creamy texture. Almost no effervescence. Flavor is of buttered popcorn. Seems to stick to the palate. Finish brings a faint tart quality, butter quality disappears leaving only corn. It's just okay.

Came over to Polson Montana's only brewery, Glacier Brewing Company. First beer is on the far left. Deep reddish orange amber color. Completely clear. Oak whiskey barrel flavor comes fast and smooth. The middle brings the amber hops with a roasted bitter finish. Very strong flavor that definitely highlights the 9.5% alcohol. Would have been better if it wasn't quite so alcohol forward.
