Bernsteinfarben steht das Festbier mit feinporig-sahniger Blume im Glas. Es riecht karamellmalzig mit einer deutlichen und nicht süßen Honignote als Begleiter. Es startet weich, frisch und vollmundig. Auch hier ist klar das Malz erkennbar. Die Ergänzung mit dem Honig folgt aber prompt. Er kommt erdig rüber und hat krautig-würzigen Hopfen im Gepäck. Gegen Ende wird es dann schon noch recht klebrig, ohne übermäßig süß zu wirken. Eigentlich ein recht eigenständiges Festbier. Ob des klebrigen Ausklangs, dürfte es sich aber nicht unbedingt für lange Feste geeignet sein.

I was torn how to rate this. Picked up a crowler in iowa and brought back to florida. It is supposedly toasted coconut variant of the base kinsale irish stout, but i get no coconut at all. That being said this is a very good Stout. I almost think they said this was toasted coconut but was really the base beer instead. Cant rate it extremely high due to no coconut flavor but it is a very tasty beer with very nice chocolate and roasted notes.
