With Ryan at Torn Label Brewing in Kansas City. Our first brewery here. We plan on visiting several today. This the last beer on a flight of five. This aroma is throwing me off. Im getting peaches and nectarine. What kind of crazy combination is that? I'm trying but it's still there. Completely clear medium yellow color. Texture's very clean and crisp. Flavor's powerful. I get strong lemon and resin and toward the finish, a little bit of orange in the background. Finish also turns very dry and continues for a prolonged time.

With Ryan at Torn Label Brewing in Kansas City. Our first brewery here. We plan on visiting several today. This the fourth beer on a flight of five. Unusual fruit flavor that's unfamiliar to Americans. It has a sour fruit quality, sweet and tart. Flavor is immediately rendering the black currant flavor. A dark Berry fruit. It's similar to a dark grape, but much more tart. This fruited beer turns dry during the finish. The flavor really reminds me of a barley wine. Definitely unique, especially for an American beer.

With Ryan at Torn Label Brewing in Kansas City. Our first brewery here. We plan on visiting several today. This the third beer on a flight of five. So dark that it's almost black. Coffee aroma. First sip, there's nothing but coffee, coffee and more deep roasted coffee. No other flavors, except the deep malt, and a finished that is nothing but roasted flavor. If you want coffee with your beer, this is it.

With Ryan at Torn Label Brewing in Kansas City. Our first brewery here. We plan on visiting several today. This the second beer on a flight of five. Aroma, fresh roasted, dark coffee with maybe a little pepper in the background. Flavor is definitely a shot of deep roasted coffee, a little gentle milk chocolate in the background. For a beer that is so coffee forward, the bitterness level on the back end was very mild. These people really know how to brew beer here. This is excellent.

With Ryan at Torn Label Brewing in Kansas City. Our first brewery here. We plan on visiting several today. This is the beer on the far left. Deep burnt red color completely clear. So surprising really was not expecting to like this beer. Flavor is of dark berry fruit juice with only a minor amount of cloves,. Chilies are more of a black pepper and still it's in the background. Very good beer.

At Torn Label Brewing with Ryan visiting our first brewery of the day in Kansas City Missouri. This beer is not an amber, it's not a Mexican lager, it's a Mexican amber. Copper, red clear color. Has a lot of the roasted amber qualities while combining with a distinct corn malt. Modestly sweet and gently dry on the finish. Really good beer.

Small head. Very hazy light yellow color. Strong citrus aroma. Very strong citrus flavor and bitter. Citrus and bitter finish. Very strong. Not fond of IPAs and this is too strong for me.
