At the airport and so tired that I took no photos of this. Deep yellow color, lightly hazy. IPA with a strong malt backbone, mild sweetness, a little bitter on the back.

At Kansas City Airport having beer while waiting on the flight. Another brewery to try. In a plastic cup. Amber flavor reveals gently roasted malt, sweetness of raw honey with touches of caramel. Bready texture. If I were a local here, this may become my go-to beer.

Kerrassaan hirveä. Tuoksu on suoraan kuin suola-/maustekurkkujen etikkaliemi. Maku pitkälti sama. Ehkä happamampi. Onkohan tänä vain sitä, mutta myydään oluena.

Having Christmas Day kids game day. My son and I are having "split out of town beer" day, another one from Kansas City. Short head, opaque brown color. Strong aroma of maple syrup on hot pancakes. Thin and crisp texture, not what I would expect from a stout. Flavor has a roasted quality, bittersweet, with a mellowed maple flavor. Not near as sweet or heavy as maple syrup. Finish ads some bitterness and some sourness that does not add to the enjoyment of the beer. The aroma started out excellent but the beer never really caught up to that quality.

Having another unique beer brought to my son from out of town. Should go well with my Christmas pecan pie. Deep orange copper color, very hazy. Strong aroma of nutmeg and ample cider. Flavor brings forth more of the nutmeg adding cinnamon and notes of apple cider. Finish continues this. Very good holiday beer that brings forth holiday spices and flavors.

Not a bad Abbey ale... Has sweet caramel , coriander and vanilla notes. Goes down smooth.. Recommend. Cheers 🍻
