Good, not my thing, though. Had a taste (cloves perhaps) that I don't care for in an IPA.

Only my second black ipa for in which to judge but, I liked it . The start was of a stout but the finish was ipa-ish. The transition was so smooth it was hard tell when it occured.

I felt the addition of the rye was too subtle. As it was, it was just enough to make itself known but not enough to set itself apart from its peers. The result ended up leaving my tastebuds confused.
