Brockley Brewery
England
chevron_leftchevron_right
Much of London's best beer can be found along the 'Ginger Line', that part of the London Overground that uses the old East London Line tracks (and more besides). It's no surprise, then, to find a brewery in Brockley, even if the beer is somewhat more traditional than much of what's swigged in pubs to the north of this South-east London neighbourhood. Pale, one of the first two beers produced in Harcourt Road, won't scare the horses - it's an old-school bitter, plain and simple.

Gig, so plastic cup, but it's a red ale, so tastes great anyway.

Really similar to pale ale maybe little more hoppy. Pie was good not great but proper home food. 🍻😋

Nice real ale again. Wouldn't recognize as an IPA, but it went nicely with an english pie.

First Pint in London and real ale of course from local brewery. Mild aroma with a hint of citrus and malty. Taste really English 👍🍻
