When the Cronx opened in the summer of 2012 it became the first non-brewpub brewer in Croydon for more than half a century. It makes a very decent session ale (Standard), a more expansive porter (Entire) and a pale ale that hews closely to the current passion for citrusy golden ales (Kotchin). The name comes from a somewhat affectionate local nickname for Croydon.
