What a beautiful day, front porch, rocking chair, a new beer to explore. Nice. Deep yellow color, clear, modest head but it disappeared quickly. Extremely faint aroma of corn malt. Texture is thin and very crisp but still has some body. Light on flavor, sharp and edgy corn malt that quickly turns dry on the tongue. Finish still has some effervescence but flavor turns faintly tart and then disappears. Obviously not a bad beer but not good either. Really, very forgettable. Mild flavor, pedestrian, not much to the finish. Would I drink another? If nothing's else is available, sure, but would never seek this one out or be excited to try another. I guess this beer has finally established my middle as 2.8.

Heavy and frothy head, has an orange tint and is really lasting. Deep yellow and completely clear color. Aroma has grapefruit and Orange blossom honey. Light and crisp texture. Flavor, immediately get unblemished resin hop bitterness. Straightforward pine. Not overpowering but dominates till the middle when, finally, citrus flavors arrive. While a smorgasbord of tropical fruit flavors, the most outstanding is a sour grapefruit with a lemon background. Going into the finish, a small amount of soft natural sweetness is exposed as the bitterness carries through. For those that like that hop bitterness kick, they will be pleased. Not so much for me.

2023 NFL draft, Texans take CJ's trailer and then come right back at number 3 with Alabama's Will Anderson. Roll Tide🐘!!Exciting stuff. Enjoying this German style hellies while watching this exciting draft. Modest Whitehead that dissipates quickly. Very light almost non-existent aroma. Clear deep yellow color. Easy drinking and very smooth with cornflake and a touch of honey.

This is the tenth beer I sent to Texas for Duo. Enjoyed the last two from Oyster City. Fairly high and thick white head. Aroma exactly matches mango. Medium yellow color, almost clear. Light texture soft and smooth. Flavor comes across quickly of mango and then develops a perfume or mediciney trait. The middle and finish adds a grain quality, much like millet or quinoa. The finish adds a sour quality as if the fruit was too ripe. What started off as a good mango flavor quickly became slightly unpleasant. The medicine type quality makes me suspicious that this was artificial flavoring. I don't think they used real fruit puree and this may have been the culprit.

Having a quick beer via Duo with my son-in-law in Houston while at my son's house getting ready for the super Bowl to start. Go Eagles! Steaks are almost ready so I have to hurry. Totally clear dark brown color, hold it to the light and some red shows through. Not much aroma. Sweet deep malt with molasses characteristics. Dark brown malt is delicious. Finish brings a crisp back of the tongue bitterness. Like toasted toffee. As it warms the texture turns from crisp and light to very creamy. Much better given a chance to have some of the chill wear off. Wasn't expecting much from this, just bought it because it's unique to me, but I really like this beer.
