Picked this light lager to enjoy with my Mexican dinner. Only had a short head, disappeared completely in seconds. It's a fresh can so that must be a characteristic. Pale yellow and not totally clear in color, a very small fog. I was hoping some of the carbonation stayed in the body but it's not there. Flavor's weak but that's okay considering this was brewed as a low-carb alternative. Sweet corn, a little dry with a very short finish. It definitely won't interfere with my dinner.

First to rate this beer. Very high head, as much head as there was beer below it. Frothy, meringue like and lasting. Medium dark yellow color and lightly hazy. Aroma is a blend of citrus. Texture is very smooth on the verge of creamy. Most of the effervescence was released on the pour and is not present for the taste. Surprising that a double-hopped IPA with 11% alcohol can be this mildly flavored and have such lightly hopped bitterness. The citrus flavors are so mild it's a little difficult to distinguish them. It has orange peel, a little lemon and the back end adds mildly tart grapefruit. The whole experience is very subtle and the 11% alcohol is totally hidden. A six pack of this by a swimming pool could be deadly. Since I'm not a fan of overly hopped bitter IPAs, but I actually love this beer. The mild bitterness and flavor makes it very drinkable. Except for that 11% that will come back to bite you. (Halfway through this beer, I don't taste the alcohol but I do feel it.) 🤬I'm not paying for the barcode that was included when I started. When I add beers I will no longer include the barcode.

Ghost Train is a very good Brewery in Birmingham Alabama. Nice and friendly place. Bought this Imperial sour because.....well, just because. Can't put off trying it any longer. This should be interesting. It actually did have some head but once I poured it, before I could get my photo ready, it was gone. That was quick. Deep yellow color. Somewhat hazy. I expected much more aroma out of an imperial but what little there is leans towards tangerine. Yes, it is definitely a sour. I can't even call this tart. Along with the tangerine there's a pithy orange peel. Totally hides the 13.9% alcohol. It's not even on the can, so be careful. This is no tutti frutti flavored punch. Finish brings nothing new to the equation. The whole beer seems rather flat and lacking effervescence. Sours are not my favorite and this isn't going to change my mind.

Light yellow color, very little head. Faint aroma. It has a corn lager flavor but definitely on the weak side. Very smooth and easy drinking. A little sour on the finish. It's okay. Nothing that deserves a long review.

At the ghost train brewing company in Birmingham Alabama. Having this beer while sitting 3 ft from their canning operation. Be easy just to pluck one off the belt. Bar girl forwarded on the side so very little head. Very deep brown in color. Deep malt aroma, a little earthy. A robust roasted malt, slightly bittersweet. This is more of an old style porter, no additives of oatmeal or chocolate or caramel. Just deep roasted malt.

Medium high, white head that's not lasting. Mild citrus aroma which I was not expecting. Has a solid yellow color and is slightly hazy. Crisp texture. Good flavor which tilts toward lemon. There is a sourness that you would expect if you bit into a lemon. Clean finish with a vanishing lemon peel. Nothing special but I do like that lemon addition. Very refreshing. Light and clean.

Still enjoying boating on the lake with family. Tried this one straight from the can so sadly, could not observe the head or the color. Did enjoy the aroma and the flavor of this citrusy IPA. Would very much like to try it again in order to give it a more accurate rating. But for now, I'm going to go with a 4.1.
