This huge brewpub just off Lavender Hill is part of Brighton group Laines' growing empire - and it boasts the sort of decent, well-made, if not spectacular, ale that group specialises in. The Australian head brewer, Nik Donald, knows his stuff, having worked at Brew Wharf and By The Horns in the past.
