At Back Forty with family having a flight. Very hazy yellow. Mild flavor, a distinct brut style flavor. A little tart but ok.

At my son's house for Alabama vs Vanderbilt. Roll Tide! He went to Back Forty Brewery this morning for lunch and brought this for me. It's a sour so hoping this is good. High head, hazy medium yellow. Thin, crisp texture. It is quickly lemonade with the pineapple showing late. No pomegranate all all, that's disappointing. For a sour, I can drink this but it's just OK.

Well it's finally football season again. Going to start SEC play tonight with Auburn versus Baylor. Having a sour from my hometown brewery, Back Forty. Light yellow color. slightly hazy, short head. Sour lemon aroma. Green apple tart combined with a sour lemon peel. At first it's not pleasent but drinkable. Then a salty sour hits the back of tongue thats very much like chewing a rank lemon peel. Never really tasted watermelon. I like Back Forty but I have more good beers waiting tonight so 4 sips and I'm done.

At Back Forty Brewery having a burger and an amber lager. Our only local Brewery. Modest head in this pint glass. Beautiful deep clear dark copper color. Pretty sweet for this category, mild on the Amber flavor but very smooth and easy drinking. Turns a little Brady in the finish. Works very well with burgers and onion rings. Better than average.

It's true, you can't miss seeing a huge peach up in the air right on the exit going down interstate 65. And the Big Peach Park store below it will sell you ice cream, local produce and anything with peaches. Especially fresh Clanton peaches, the best in Alabama. Simply impossible to drive down I65 and not stop there. The beer's head is half as high as the beer itself. Light yellow color with misty haze. Fresh ripe peach aroma, the tart red inner part right next to the seed. It has a soft creamy texture. A modest amount of flavor. Delivers a tart peach flavor but much more pithy and not the pulp that I would have preferred. In the finish it does turn a bit sour but not much. It's pretty good, don't taste anything artificial. But I was hoping for more of a true natural 🍑 peach flavor.

Sharing this Gadsden Alabama beer with Ryan while family is here for the holidays. Golden ale has a good corn aroma. Medium yellow color with a small amount of haze. First sip is.. not great. Crisp texture, has a sour bite and seems almost salty. Not what I was expecting. Not much else to say, don't care for this at all.

My whole family came down to Back Forty Brewery to watch the fireworks. They really outdid themselves. Hundreds of people in the parking lot watching an absolutely fabulous show. Thanks so much Back Forty. Again I am enjoying their really good brown ale called Truck Stop Honey. Can't go wrong with this. Having too much fun to make a review right now but I've reviewed it before. Time to have fun.
