Happy to announce the first part of a series where I rate all the beers from the Mare Island Brewery Co. - a very very good and local brewery of mine! First up, we have the Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo Mexican Lager. He was a Mexican general that owned most of the land that makes up the North Bay in the 1800s. He ran the San Francisco Presidio, designed the town of Sonoma, had 16 children, and the town of Vallejo was named after him. A classic Mexican lager that was turned up to 11. Off to a fantastic start! I can’t rave enough about this beer! More to come in the following weeks 🎉🍻 cheers!
