Cracking drink with a nice roasted malt aroma. Creamy with a pleasant taste. Subtle coffee and chocolate notes lead to a gentle bitterness at the finish. The bitterness is more pronounced in the aftertaste but remains enjoyable. A booster of a session ale.

Had it before, straight from the barrel. Same profile as before, but way creamier this time from the handpull. I prefer this one as it has a more pronounced flavour profile, hence the slightly better rating. Still a good session ale.

Dark, strong and rich. Coffee aroma and flavour. Enjoyable stout.

Decent drink with a nice malty aroma. Creamy mouthfeel with a nice malty taste. A subtle hoppy note leading to a slight fruity note. Subtle spiciness mixed in also. A subtle bitter finish but enjoyable. A smooth and easy drinking session ale.

Finally got to try it again elsewhere, and boy, what a difference! Same details as before, but way, way better than before. Mega cherry notes and, by a distance, way creamier—no curse. What it should have been. Hence, why I marked it up by a distance. It could almost be a different drink as it is so different from my first try. A good session ale that's totally quaffable this time, as I didn't even notice the alcohol this time. Dangerous!
