This the third brewery today and our sixth beer. These are all tasters.
While trying to get out the door for our uber, Harrison forced us to try their Irish Stout. Just a small taste. And another good beer. Dark, roasted, dry. Just as an Irish should be. Small, unassuming, not fancy but excellent.

This is the third brewery today and our fifth beer here.
In the glass, absolutely no light shines through. Full tan head that sticks to the glass. Aroma of raisins, raw molasses and alcohol. Creamy in a gentle way. Coffee, raisin, dark bitter cocoa that turns bittersweet. And a big hit of alcohol. Intense!! Hits the pallet hard and lasts. Excellent!!
After we told Harrison how much we loved this beer, he asked if we might be interested in some older regular versions. He said they had some in bottles somewhere in back. Hell Yes!! He brings out the 2022, 2023 and 2024 bottles. Wow! We will have these at Sunday's Kansas City Chiefs versus Baltimore Ravens ball game.

This is the third brewery today and our third beer.
What an honor. Keith, the master brewer here, has just finished brewing this year's Oktoberfest beer. He's preparing it for the tapper now and we will be one of the first to try it. Now that's special. Love meeting beer people. And he has talked us into staying for their Oktoberfest dinner. Just strarted serving it today.
We are the having the first beers on this years brew. Can't have a taster on this Octoberfest. Got a full serving of this one. Mild roasted aroma. Flavor brings a roasted malt along with a thin texture, drinkable brew. Barely sweet, bready, some lightly toasted caramel. Clean finish. Keith did good on this.

Third brewery today in Kansas City. Brewery Emperial. Our second beer here.
Medium yellow with a slight orange. Yes, it's bitter and lemon. This is like chewing lemon peal in a good way. I'm not into Brittish bitters but this is a good version of this style.

Third brewery today in Kansas City. Brewery Emperial. We're starting with their Ginger Shandy. 3.6 % This is so refreshing. Walked a few blocks to get here it is just what we needed. Cool, crisp, sweet ginger in a low carbonated brew. What a great little refreshment.
