With Ryan at Casual Animal Brewing in Kansas City. Our second brewery here. We plan on visiting several today. This the last beer on another flight of five.
It has a dark color but you can see red color right through it. The flavor, I can't help but laugh. Ryan described to as roasted water. He is so right. Sweet roasted water, can't find any malt. Dry finish. Disappointed.

Very dark color, traces of red around the edges. Wow, what an intense vanilla aroma. Crisp texture. Strong vanilla flavor but ... it's definitely artificial. Don't even want to continue the review. Done with beers that can't use real ingredients

This Japanese lager has set a record with me. Never had a beer with so little color in it. Only a drop of yellow. Not much in the way of aroma. Upon tasting, this has very little flavor or punch to it. Just a little bit of lemon, then turns modestly dry. Don't much care for this one.

Light yellow color, totally clear. Aroma is revealing very little. Texture has a very crisp mouth. First, I get corn malt, with a very mild amount of flavor. Finish turns tart. Nothing special here.

Color is a hazy peach. Very tart and sour aroma. Okay, I'm impressed. Flavor is very subtle, almost gentle. Undistinguished fruit, none of it is citrus. Very drinkable. As the flavor moves into the finish, it almost disappears. Finish becomes modestly dry. For a sour, I'm really enjoying this.
