A weirdo! Yes, that's what it is! Like a marriage of wheat-based beer and energy drink. I wonder what its diagnosis is but certainly some kind of a borderline case.
The beer wears semihazy gold. Looks normal? A white creamy head surpasses one finger and dissolves to a thin, a bit untidy lace ring as well as an equally unstructured haze.
Wheat malt is recognizable in the air, yet not particularly powerful. Lemon zest and orange peel linger in the shadows. Okay, weak but no need to look for a straightjacket, yet.
Basically, the same elements of wheat malt, lemon zest and a pinch of orange peel find their way to my tastebuds. Additionally, I spot Oriental lemongrass and a hint of whitepepper. The beer contains Cascara which is dried coffee bean peels. I don't find any coffee here though.
The body is thin. The tail is fruity, citrusy, nothing new from that space. And a tad wheaty.
The mouthfeel is thin, zesty, pulpy, refreshing. Nothing alien here. It would be interesting to know if the beer contains caffeine, because of the coffee bean substance, but the label doesn't reveal the secret.
The label, by the way, looks like a Soviet propaganda poster from the 1970s. Fly on Yuri Gagarin, fly with the Sputnik, keep the promise running, keep it alive.
