Cider evening @ Fruticetum. Fruticetum is a fruit garden that grows almost all fruits and berries that can be grown in Finland and experiments with new species and varieties. Tonight, a couple of non-commercial cider experts share their tips and experiences on cider brewing. The event also includes tastings. I will give short reviews only. Cider #1 colors clear gold. Intensive apple mash emanates to my nose. The tongue receives very dry apple, a bit sour, a good load of apple mash with lots of peel. The mouthfeel is dry, light, natural and juicy.
