Portobello Brewing
England

Portobello has made great strides over the past few years, largely thanks to talented brewer Farooq Khalid. Their beers are session-able easy drinkers, with Market Porter an excellent example of that dark, more-ish London classic.

Decent drink, but nothing overly special. It has a nice malty aroma, a malty taste with a subtle hoppiness mixed in, and a slight spicy note leading to a subtle sweet finish, but with a bitter aftertaste. It's an enjoyable drink and a good session ale that's totally quaffable. Overall, it's smooth and easy-drinking, but yet again, it suffers from the usual JDW curse.

A fair light helles lager, but it’s quite mild and not very memorable. Low on fizz, so you could have a few.
