Happy Friday. This is quite different. Has a very woody with a light white pepper taste that lingers. Also has some light juicy orange. Bitterness is very light. Overall it is very different and good

Happy Friday. This has a melon, mango, pineapple, light passion fruit that is very dank taste. Has a medium+ hoppy bitterness. Fairly thick. Overall this is just flat out excellent. I may even be under rating it at 4.5 it is that good. I wish I had more. I’ll be looking for it again.

Happy Friday. This has a fairly strong melon taste that is slightly dank. Has some light pineapple, vanilla and a hint of orange also. Hoppy side is light and lingers. This is fairly thick. Overall this one is very nice.

After watching my Eagles 🦅🦅🦅 get their azzes kicked again I had to go back to my specialty beers. Can’t wait to see them lose in the playoffs next week. This has an oak with hints of vanilla and a light caramel taste. On the sweet side but that is expected for the style. Very malty. I have to say I’m enjoying the barleywines tonight. I kind of got off the style because most locals I’ve had just make them sugary sweet (usually just loaded with brown sugar). These last two have been nice and a little complex.

Happy Friday. This is very malty and has a fairly strong toasted caramel taste. As you get midway thru you get some really light dark fruit added in. This is pretty sweet but not over the top. Overall a surprisingly good doppelbock. In fact I’m going to have a doppelbock night as I have a few of them in da beer fridge

I thought this beer was call Phantasm but it is Drip. I was expecting the Tall man and crazy blood draining balls flying around but that was the wrong name. It seems that Phantasm is “a powder derived from Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc grapes which converts to intense tropical thiols during fermentation”. (did a little research). I have to say this has a funky melon, passion fruit and white grape taste that is super intense with a medium+ hoppy bitterness. Overall it has an overripe fruit that is slightly burned with a tad powdery taste to it. Funky like I said. It’s kind of over the top and really lingers in the mouth but I’m digging it. I’ve had a few beers lately with this overripe fruit and slightly burnt taste (my best description). I wonder if these “thiols” are the culprit???? Could it be???? Never heard of thiols before but maybe I’m just uneducated. 😀😀

This is another quite different and unique beer. This has a fruity taste that leans towards strawberry, peach, pineapple and lightly burnt papaya - all with a touch of sweet dankness. Hoppy bitterness is light. Overall it is an excellent different DIPA. Didn’t realize it was a DIPA until I looked at the can. Hides the ABV well
