Another big one in 6 oz size. The appearance is perverted: looks like hot chocolate! 🤎🤎🤎 Massively sludgy, superdeep brown. The carbonation is a joke. So is the head. Can't remember if there was a head but it moved to history more or less immediately. Looks flat as hell. Oohhh my Lord! What a lovely scent! Bourbon is obvious, even copious, but by no means overwhelming. Rather soft and smooth. Barrel notes can't be omitted. Milk chocolate, cacao nibs, vanilla, cinnamon, even a whisper of maple syrup. Sweet hazelnut? Quite a cocktail! Not that there was something unanticipated, rather vice versa, but still a good lineup of components. The gustatory triumph follows the suit: powerful elements in big time. Bourbon is surprisingly manageable here. Barrel aged though. Chocolate ganache, cacao nibs, cinnamon, vanilla. At least. Faint toffee but not sure about the maple syrup. Probably not. Something syrupy anyway. Enormous body. No doubt about it. As if, again, a problem with the tap or finishing keg or something. Huge in any case. Spoonable. Definitely. Seductive end, no change from upfront but, all in all, L-O-V-E-L-Y!! Feels big. Just enormous. Damn thick and sticky. Gooey. Barrel aged, sappy, deep, rich, round, velvety, a tad layered. Still balanced. Astonishingly easily gulpable. Slow, of course. These guys have magic in their hands what comes to big beers.

Now something bigger. But not sizewise though 😅 The pour is dressed in a murky, deep brown syrupy gown. Very flat carbonation, hence, the emerging foamy layer almost refuses to form in the first place. Dies fast, too. The scent... wow... quite a bomb. Apricot jam, banana, raisin, date, cacao nibs, caramel latte. Not a bad set. Not at all. The promising fragrance delivers beautifully throughout the gustatory experience: hefty apricot marmalade, caramelized apple, date, toffee, sugarcane, a smaller injection of raisin and white grape. A sweet tooth bliss, for sure. Despite the fairly high ABV, alcohol doesn't taste here at all. It feels, which is nice, but doesn't taste, which is nice, too. The body is full, even vast. Fantabulous! Doesn't let me down, this one. The end doesn't deviate from upfront. Very attractive throughout. And a long-lasting enjoyment. The mouthfeel is full, heavy, thick, warming, sticky and chewy. Somewhat complex and layered. Absolutely soft. The ample ABV gives an interesting pinching feeling on the gums. A true slow sipper.

Work accomplished. Now a few hours to taste beers before heading for the airport. No flight here. The smallest portion is 6 oz. The beer is hazy orange. A creamy head looks like frogspawn at the level of one finger. The long retention breathes life to the billowy lace ring and haze on the top. Fruity scent but somewhat unidentifiable. Gotta smell several times. Orange and mango maybe. The flavor constellation opens up new avenues in addition to the already walked orange pulp and mango: cantaloupe, lemon jam, dry grass and faint kiwifruit. The body is light to light-medium. The end releases citrusy flavors with a grassy touch. The tropical side shrinks to nil. Long finish. The mouthfeel is light, zesty, pulpy, somewhat crisp, dry and drying. Refreshing, too.
