Stopped on our way to Oktoberfest in Helen Georgia. Going to be a great trip. Very deep reddish bronze color. Plenty of light shining through. Not near as dark as most porters. Roasted Amber aroma. Roasted malt with caramel and an earthy nutty flavor. Moderate hop bitterness through the finish.

Stopped at Talking Rock Brewery on our way to Oktoberfest in Helen Georgia. Cool place located in five antique railroad cars. The Irish Stout is the one on the right. Came in 5 oz sniffer. Very small bubbles in the head which is coating the inside of the glass. Roasted deep malt. Slightly bitter and definitely dry. Finishes fast, completely disappears in seconds. Good Irish dry.
