A vegan milk stout made with oat cream. Very nice it was too, hints of caramel and vanilla against a gentle malty stout. Nice!

Lovely ipa from bluntrock. Hazy, passionfruit notes all through with a smooth finish.

The Moon in the sky. And Venus above it. They look closer to each other than what they actually are, due to the perspective's horizontal distortion. The beer looks misty, milky straw. The carbonation is not particularly wild but it unlocks a soapy froth that rockets four fingers tall. The foamy stack melts fast to a billowy lace ring and a haze on the surface. If the foaming gives a bit of alarm, the scent doesn't exactly calm me down either. I spot ample wet wool and a tad dry grass. Pity! The taste is bitter, citrusy and metallic. The citruses include lemon pith and peel, perhaps a suggestion of grapefruit, as well. The metallic tang is powerful, followed by a piney slam. Looks like the hops have more or less lost their strength and turned unpleasant. The list of ingredients reports also chili peppers. I can't catch a glimpse. Totally absent. The body is light. That's nice since the body seldom is the strongest link of the beer. The finish is bitter citrusy, especially lemony, and metallic. And keeps my tastebuds alert for some time. The mouthfeel is light, metallic, tangy, somewhat effervescent and pithy. As well as dry and drying. I expected much more of this. This clearly disappoints me. I have to check the best before date: 18 December 2024. This is overdue now. Damn! I bought this on 15 December. Unfortunately, I can't check it anymore if this was discounted or not. I try to be careful with IPAs and Pale Ales and the likes because their hop forwardness is vulnerable to age. That's why I'm skeptical about buying discounted Pale Ales. Anyway, like I said, I can't check it anymore, it is what it is.
