Ok, the last Sahti this time. This is the competition Sahti from Janakkala, like I said #3. Medium-dark, turbid. Modest but malty fragrance. Juniper is there. A tad rye floury though. Still fine but I understand why it didn't win.

The brewer says that this is sour. We'll see. Looks frothy. The scent is, indeed, sour citrusy. The taste... is s*it. Tart, sour, citrusy. Floury. Clearly off-flavored. Probably lactic acid contamination. The worst so far.

Two Sahtis from the Janakkala guy. The first one is better, he says. Neither is a competition Sahti, there's a third one there. I can't get any fragrance here. What's wrong? A bit alcoholic, medium-full. Reasonable.
