750ml clear glass; pours a medium straw to golden, slight haze, still; on the nose complex and fruity, oodles of apple characters with funky farmyard leather notes, dried grass and oaky-ness; in the mouth velvety smooth, bone dry with a very slight scratch across the throat, gorgeous tannins, dry and astringent, with a welcoming bitterness that balanced rather well with zingy lemon, rich vanilla and juicy apples, lovely medium to full body, quick finish, lingering bittersweet and smoky / oaky aftertaste; overall a great tannin led cider, delivering everything you would expect of a bold and luxurious BA Somerset dry cider
