Has a mild citrus aroma and a bubbly foam top. Pours a haze, pale yellow. Juicy and a bit earthy & dank. Ripe citrus and grapefruit peel with an edge of a faint pine-cedar aftertaste. Smooth for a 9% 'er

Pours a hazy yellow. Decent foam top. Pleasant tropical fruit aroma hits as soon as the can is opened. Smooth, balanced pineapple 🍍 & 🍈 melon flavors with an earthy pine aftertaste

Pours a deep, aged golden yellow. Nice pine aroma. The simcoe hops dominate with this one. It's nicely hopped, slight bitterness with a pleasant, but front flavor pine flavor. Nice WC style. The 9% ABV is well hidden

Pours a clear, golden yellow. Effervescent with a thin, quick dissipating foam top. Semi-sweet maltiness with a biscuity and grain body.

Saw a few brews by this Resident Culture at decent prices for USA imports so I picked up a few. I'm a fan of The Veil USA brewer so will be comparing this brew to theirs. Dark amber coloured like pineapple juice, opaque haze. On the nose its citrusy and tropical with some typical strata dankness. It's sweet, piney hopiness. In the mouth its quite carbonated, which is found is a notable thing of USA brews. Still, it's quite syrupy though not thick and creamy like a big party brew of Polly's. The flavour is strong and tangy, with stabbing pineapple, clementine, grapefruit, lemon, bubblegum, pine and a little weed. It's not as sweet in the mouth as on the nose, it's more a mix of sweet and bitter with the pine finish. The blend of bubblegum, weed and pine in the finish is quite nice for some depth and complexity, though the fruitiness isn't explicit as other brews. All round though it present well and is pretty big for a 6.5% ABV, I'd go so far as to say heavy. And the carbonation makes it heavier and not an easy drinking beer. It's a decent IPA, not outstanding but a good use of two classics in Citra and Mosaic with the newer dank hop strata. Single hop strata brews aren't great for me, using it in a mixed hop brew like this is ideal. I would like less pine and more weed from the strata though. EDIT: as this breathes it gets a bit softer, less tang and slightly sweeter. The pine and carbonation persists mind you. And I'd say it's more hoppy too.
