Post night shift
Wanted something less heavy, less evil if you will
Medium bodied with a beautiful white chocolate base followed by a little tartness from ya boy cherry
Never had a bad mash gang beer but this is hands down the best AF I have ever had.

It's noticeably tangy on the nose, like very rich gateaux with chocolate and cherry standing out. It even seems to have a matching ruby edge to it's opaque black complexion.
Woah. In the gob it is odd! Not thick and smooth like a stout should be, it's thin and sharp and a shock. Cherry sour meets vanilla syrup. The vanilla is a welcomed smooth element that I find myself reaching for, desperately trying to ignore the cherry and chocolate cake.
You get used to it a bit more over time, the initial shock gone. And it is more like "normal" pastry/flavoured stouts. It's rich and tangy and feels like a dessert even though it's very thin in the mouth.
It's not horrid, but I'm not keen either and I wouldn't not recommend this to anyone other than the strangest of extreme dodgy stout lovers. If you love a blueberry, maple, pancake with neapolitan ice cream breakfast pastry stout, and such, then this could be for you.
