Decent malty ale

Light malty aroma, flavour is of sweet malt with honey notes. Really wish this beers had some carbonation.

3rd of 4 Tobeermory beers Caramel and stone fruit flavours but its another with no carbonation, I wouldn't mind if these were cask ales but there bottled so should have at least a few bubbles.

2nd of 4 Tobeermory beers. Again this is bottle conditioned and again zero carbonation, such a shame. Aroma is fruity with background malt. Lovely smooth full mouth feel. Flavour is of biscuit malt, stone fruit and hints of spice. Just needs some bubbles.

Let me preface this a little bit. Went to the Isle of Mull recently for a wee holiday with my better half. Absolutely loved the place, if you've never been and have the means to get there for a break you really really should you'll love it. The largest settlement on Mull is Tobermory, beautiful wee town so full of character and charm. Just having a walk around the sea front I said to her 'I can smell beer being made' (wort to you and me lol) and sure enough just a little bit further along we come across 'Tobeermory' brewery/shop (didn't even know there was a brewery on Mull) and obviously I had to pop in to purchase a sample of their wares lol. Lovely guy, really friendly, was in the middle of brewing but was more than happy to have a wee chat and let me look around. I bought their 'A Wee Cairry Oot' 4 bottle sample pack. All beers are bottle conditioned. This is the 1st of the 4 Tobeermory beers. Islander Pale Ale 3.9%, aroma has subtle citrus notes, flavour light citrus and malty tones. Unfortunately there was zero carbonation in this beer, maybe I had a bad one it is bottle conditioned and these things happen. It's a decent pale and a proper fizz would give it the lift it needs to make it really pop.

Last weekend i went on an epic solo getaway to Oban and Isle of Mull courtesy of the platty joobs. An all round amazing day swimming and walking around Tobermory and finished it off with this smooth ale on the beach with a book 🤩
